Ever since I was a small child I have been fascinated by cars. By the age of four I could recognize - and draw - the logos of all car brands, and by the age of seven I got my first model car: a blue 1/43rd scale Jaguar V12 made by Solido, a present for my swimming diploma... Since then my collection of model cars - all in the scale 1/43 - has grown to nearly 500 different models.

This website is dedicated to sharing my passion for model cars and evoke some plesant feelings of nostalgia by taking you back to 1960s, 70s, 80s and 90s and the cars that populated our streets back then. Given I was born in the Netherlands in 1983, the emphasis of my collection is on the 1980s and 1990s. All cars have their own self-made Dutch license plates. The scenes below depict the Alfa Romeo Giulietta my parents had when I was born (probably the first car I ever sat in) and the Renault 21 Nevada they had much later (I vividly remember how hot this car would get during summer holidays in Italy, without airconditioning...).
